Workin' the Yellow Pages [05 Mar 2008|07:56pm]
[ mood | amused ]

I took a fun quiz today, very amused by the results. I think I should just give up college and start selling myself- I'd make a helluva lot more dough.

In other news, the rainbow table is going well. I'm having a lot of fun with the prompts, and the community is neat in so much that they accept any fandom, any pairing. Not that I think anyone reads this this, but if you are so inclined, you should check them out </a></b></a>writing_rainbow . Ta for now!

Rainbow Prompt Table! Woot! [02 Mar 2008|03:31am]
[ mood | creative ]

So I've decided to start on a fiction table... We'll see how far that goes, lol. I've already finished a drabble for the Hot Fuzz pairing of Danny/Nick, so we'll see who else comes to mind. Table taken from

writing_rainbow.  I'll update the links as the muses so use me :D

A Little BDS RPS [15 Sep 2007|12:55am]
[ mood | accomplished ]

I love these boys so much, in Boondock as well as some of their other films. So, in unholy Flandus honor,  wrote a pair of connected drabbles. Look, they're real drabbles, too- each one hundred exactly. *pride* lol.

Title(s): From Here to There
Author: me, stage_master
Pairing: Sean/Norman
Rating: easy little PG-13
Disclaimer: I know no one, I insinuate nothing about either of these fine gentleman. On to fic!

I've been tagged by the wonderful foxriverinmate and thus this is my meagre offering.
Oh, and these guys are now on the tag hit list!

More Drabbling [24 Feb 2007|11:28pm]
[ mood | calm ]

Once again I was drawn to write a bit. I was feeling the post-series-lost-in-his-own-skin-Michael, so this is just a short piece that I may expand one day *crosses fingers*. Why do my drabbles never really fit in a drabble length? Hmm.

Movies and My Missing Flist [03 Feb 2007|02:25pm]
[ mood | lonely ]

So I went and saw The Queen last night. A very good film, really, for a number of reasons. The spliced images taken from actual news reports of the time were wonderfully woven into the fabric of the screenplay. And speaking of screenplay, the writing was wonderful- I really enjoyed the subtle wit that was present through out the film. It's so hard to think that the tragedy happened almost ten tears ago, when I was too young to really understand the great loss. So, the acting was phenominal, the score fit nicely, it was shot with a gentleness that still retained strength (yeah I know), and the writing was great. The Queen may seem a little dry to moviegoers who expect Hollywoods glitz and action, but to those who appreciate a good perfomance and thought-provoking themes, this is one move that is definately worth the theatre ticket.

So about my flist. Where is everyone? Where have all the creative juices been flowing? It's strange to look at my friends page in the morning and see almost no new entries. I miss my fanfiction writers. And I know I'm pouting, but I can't help it- livejournal owns real estate on my soul. Maybe I need a new hobbie. Like tight-rope walking. Or spear fishing.

Twincest Drabble [02 Feb 2007|09:54pm]
[ mood | creative ]

It seems I've been bitten by the drabble-bug, so I decided to write about my favorite Madden twins. It's RPS, but nothing even resembling explicit, so readers be wary (or  not). Disclaimer as usual, I don't own or know 'em, I insinuate nothing, and so on and so forth.

First Drabble [26 Jan 2007|10:31pm]
[ mood | accomplished ]

Though busy, I've been trying to write a bit. Good for the soul (depending upon the content, I suppose). I wrote a little Michael/Lincoln drabble, and thought I'd share- no spoilers really, unless you've never watched the show at all.

So I took this test... and was greatly amused by the results. Fantasize? Hell yeah!!

The Nurse
Random Gentle Sex Dreamer (RGSDf)

Friendly and eager. Sexy in white. You are The Nurse.

Like your male counterpart, The Poolboy, you're a fun and goofy, but giving, friend. You believe that life and love should be taken with a grain of salt. We'll bet you smile a lot, which people find contagious.

Your exact opposite:
The Battleaxe

Deliberate Brutal Love Master
If only they knew the reason...the fact is, you spend WAY more time fantasizing than the average girl. While your friends lean desperately towards love, you're chemically biased towards anti-love: sex. You'd never date someone you didn't find immediately kissable.

To maximize satisfaction, you should find someone carefree and sexual, just like you. Avoid Brutal types at all costs. A final bit of advice: experience doesn't matter. You didn't qualify as a Master, and your perfect match need not either. Consider both The Poolboy and The Playboy.

BUT ALWAYS AVOID: The False Messiah, The Mixed Messenger
